Data submitted through assessment forms

Project data, contact details, water chemistry data, and uploaded analysis files submitted through the engineering assessment form are handled as confidential business information. This data is used solely for the purpose of evaluating technical fit and responding to the submitted enquiry. It is not shared with third parties except where required for project assessment with approved Hydrovolta research or engineering partners.

Contact and communication data

Contact details provided through this website are used to respond to enquiries and, where relevant, to provide project updates. Contact data is not used for unsolicited marketing.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies until you choose to allow them. Necessary cookies, which the site needs to function, are always active. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner.

The services we use, and what each one is for:

• Google Analytics 4 (analytics) — aggregate measurement of how the site is used. Loaded through Google Tag Manager, and only after you allow analytics cookies.
• Google Ads (marketing) — measures whether an advertisement led to an enquiry. Loaded only after you allow marketing cookies.
• Google Tag Manager (necessary) — the container that loads the above according to your choice. It sets no cookies of its own.
• Formspree (necessary) — delivers the engineering assessment form to us by email. It receives the data you submit, including any file you attach.
• YouTube (video) — embedded video, served in privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you allow video cookies.

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser under hv_consent. It records which categories you allowed and when. It is not shared with anyone and is not used to identify you.

If you reach this site from an advertisement, the campaign parameters in the link (and the Google click identifier) are held for the duration of your visit and submitted with the form, so we know which campaign an enquiry came from.

Data retention and rights

Personal data submitted through this website is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose it was submitted. To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, contact george@hydrovolta.com.
